Hello all,
I am studying for the Spanish CLEP and came across this list of the 10,000 most used Spanish words. You might brush up on them before the CLEP.

10,000 is a lot more than you will need for the Spanish Clep. Also, are we talking a lexemic list or a crude list? It is, however extremely useful for me to know that such a list exists, either way. I'm trying to improve my French vocabulary by at least another 2,000 words before I take the French CLEP (next week), and am using a list of the 3,000 most common English words and translating them to French. Yeah, not the best way to do it, but its all I could find.
Your link doesn't work. Wiktionary:Frequency lists - Wiktionary
Wow, there's one for French, too. I'm excited!!! THANKS!!

I can't believe that I actually broke 100 posts. I feel like I'm here so rarely, with all of my other forum activities. Maybe there's hope that one day I, too can be a champion like you
