As an experiment I took the LTI ACTFL test and will get it on my ACE transript.
WPT Test English
OPIc to Superior English
WPT Test Chinese
I am curious how this will work out. For me since I work in Asia have my skills on a transcript are very helpful.

I am eager to hear how your experience works out with the LTI. If I am reading your post correctly, you are attempting to transfer in credit through ACE for TESC. My plan would be to follow if successful and complete the German LTI for TESC.
Best of luck!

Ok I took three tests for two languages and there are on my Ace transcript with Upper level credit recommendations. Two tests are for one language and one test is for another.
ACE Credit recommendations:
1. In the lower-division baccalaureate/associate degree category, 6 semester hours in foreign language. In the upper-division baccalaureate degree category, 8 semester hours in foreign language (11/11).
2. In the lower-division baccalaureate/associate degree category, 6 semester hours in foreign language. In the upper-division baccalaureate degree category, 8 semester hours in foreign language (11/11).
3. In the lower-division baccalaureate/associate degree category, 6 semester hours in foreign language. In the upper-division baccalaureate degree category, 3 semester hours in foreign language (11/11).
I have sent the transcript to TESC to see where these fall into.

IDK if you were asking where they will fall in general or into your degree plan but either way languages usually fall into the humanities category, then gen. ed. electives, and finally free electives.
Just an FYI Vetvso, I am pretty sure that your two ALEKS algebra courses will duplicate at TESC...just wanted to let you know.

Would you please let me know the ACE exam/Course number for the following tests? There are many tests I see on the ACE web site.
WPT Test English
OPIc to Superior English
How much it costs per exam? Also, Could you please let me know how does the OPI work?
thanks

OPI was computer based and very simple to use. Cost was 100 - 250 per test group

Thanks. Could you please let me know what kind of questions are asked for "OPIc to Superior English". Do we need to study any text book? What is the passing score for ACE credit?
thanks

I just received a notice that TESC is evaluating my ACE transcript, and I should get the update from them soon.

Just a quick update since I am receiving emails.
TESC said they would award credit once they received the LTI certificate from LTI directly. Since TESC takes about one month I expect a response in 2 - 3 weeks. I will update everyone once I find out.

EC has confirmed me that they will award 14 credits for OPI Superior level exam(Foreign Language). This will full-fill take care of my humanity and general education electives.
