Took Intro to Ed Psych today....
#1
and passed with a 52....whew!!!! I couldn't believe it. It really bothers me to pass by the skin of my teeth, but at least its another pass. I don't feel like I really studied anything that was on that test. It was weird because I felt confident about it when I was taking it, but I was surprised when I saw my score. I hope to soon get a score in the 60's.....:o

Congratulations!! I just took this exam on Saturday and passed with a 57. I know what you mean about being disappointed about just barely passing. I thought I knew the material inside out, but the exam is very tricky, so don't be hard on yourself. I think scoring lower after hard studying makes us feel insecure about the next exam. At least it does with me. I am simply going to forge ahead to Humanities, study my butt off for the next couple of months, and hopefully pass it. I try to tell myself that not passing isn't the end of the road. I just have to continue moving onward. It's very hard not to be nervous though when you've invested so much time studying. What test is next now?
Machelle

Thanks Guys for all your support. I couldn't have done it without you. Machelle, I agree, that test is very tricky. It makes you feel like you know it all and then voila.......5?. Nevertheless, its 3 credits in two weeks and you can't beat that. Well I think I have taken the piggy back courses (Sociology, HG & D, Intro to Ed Psych) so I was thinking about maybe some ECE exams that fall in the same category. I was thinking Abnormal Psych or something? Any ideas???

Ed Psych is generally considered one of the trickier psych-related CLEP exams, so I wouldn't sweat it; you did well.

Just make sure you read all of the feedback on here about a particular test before taking it so that there are no surprises. Smile
