I've been debating whether I should finish with Aleks or just go take the CLEP for College Algebra. In January I was working on College Algebra in Aleks but it was taking me forever to get through it. I'm already pressed for time and after 18 hours, I was only at 48% and felt very discouraged. I helped my husband with his online coll alg class and had to explain things to him all the time, helped him get a B+. I felt like Aleks was taking too long so I switched it to Intermediate Algebra instead hoping to move through it faster. Now after 9 hours, I'm at 68% and feel like I should've just gone and taken the CLEP. My plan is to enroll with TESC this month and take 10 CLEPS/DSST's and I'll be done.
Is it in my best interest to go for 80-90% with Aleks? or does that not matter at all based on my plans to transfer to TESC?
