Straighterline to me seems like a super easy way to cheat your way to a degree. At least in the fact that most courses can be completed without really knowing a single thing about the subject. Although a few of them you can't cheat your way out of, most are just CTRL+F the answer in your ebook and get 90s on the early work so you only have to score a 30 on the proctored final.

I'm not trying to turn this into a SL vs CLEP vs B&M debate. My real point is this seemed really out of character.

you missed a few days of spam that gives a lot of context to this.

Personally
1. I love the flexibility that they provide. Now you can literally go to college from anywhere on the world.
2. Course content, any course that you take with SL is the same as going to college (or to a University).
3. Online books, I still prefer the physical books, but it is good to have the option.

I am not as fast as many people to complete several credits in a month. For people like me, I would recommend the course bundles.

To be honest, the person who was on here attacking SL most likely suffers from a mental illness. Mocking the person is not going to do anything to help her ability to reason. All she's going to think is that forum members are being paid to endorse SL. Since her posts had no effect on how others perceive SL, the only purpose of this defense thread is to give her attention and pick at her. She's also a case study for why people post anonymously on forums. She has posted a member's home address and personal information publicly, which was easy to do because the person posts under her first and last names. Hopefully, this person doesn't live close to her because there is no telling what she's capable of.

Sorry about that. I thought this was another site becoming a victim to the sell-out. You gotta admit, without any context, it reads like a twitter feed you'd see from a corporate social media intern.

Is the thread still available, or has it been taken down?

Don't waste time by trying to save time. The only sure way to complete your degree is to knock out credits quickly and efficiently.

Don't let easiness bite you in the rear. Know your endgame (where you want to be) and plan backward from there. Your education is a means to an end.

Be honest professionally, socially and academically. There are people (especially little ones) who look up to you and they're going by your example.

Be proud. Whether you're an Engineer or Fast Food worker, there is honor and dignity in hard work.

Picking on people weaker than you only proves that you are a weak person.

I don't know why, but I literally can't wait to finish my degree so I can take more classes at Straighterline lol.

Affordable. Self-paced. And your classes are what you make of them. Speed through them just for the credit, or take your time and learn the material in and out. Or do a bit of both (my favorite).

So, wondering what you mean by this? Lol. You'll be getting a second degree, or taking more SL courses for the fun of it?

I'm already getting a second degree, check my sig. Just for the fun of it. Maybe they'll go towards a third degree in the future. I just like the format and am very familiar with how they operate.

I put more effort into things if I am personally invested. I think this is generally true for everyone.
