Thomas Edison BSBA help
#1
Hello,

I am down to my last 10 courses (30 credits) and I am very confused about my options. Please help! (BSBA General Management at Thomas Edison.)

I would like to continue testing while I wait for my evaluation. When I call, all they say is that they are very busy.

1) Can I have credits for both Intro to Management and Supervision?....or is that a duplicate??

2) To fullfill the "area of study" credits, can I use Business Law 2 and/or Ethics? I am trying to use as many DSST's as possible. (I have already taken MIS, HR, Money and banking, Principles of Finance (used as core requirement) Any suggestions? Or advice on the best TECEP's to take?

3) Is Drugs and Alcohol considered a business elective?

I am trying to finish testing by the begining of September so that they will be transciped (hopefully) by the Oct.1 deadline. To graduate in December.

I love these forums!! They have been extreamly helpful! I have gained so much knowledge from others. Thank you!
Mae

Have you tried asking these questions on the official TESC forum or the unofficial one? UNOFFICIAL THOMAS A. EDISON STATE COLLEGE - Login

Also, have you tried asking these questions by e-mail using the new Ticket system, that has worked well for me.

When you say "Intro to Management", do you mean Principles of Management? If so, I took the CLEP for Principles of Management and it went towards the business core requirements. I took the Principles of Supervision DSST and for my BSBA, that is being placed under Business Electives. To answer your question, these exams are not an overlap.

You should probably check with an advisor (email) about fulfilling your area of study. There were things I was planning out that I was surprised to find were not going to fly once I spoke to an advisor.
