This is Terrifying

Well I guess it's good that there isn't actually a sociopathic Russian with unlimited access to ridiculous weaponry, and even better that this thing doesn't exist yet; although with the aforementioned Police drone mini-helicopters and the recent surge in the use of unmanned drones by the Army, I would not at all doubt that this kind of thing will be a reality within 10-15 years.

It will be a reality sooner than 10-15 years. The rules to allow drones in US airspace are supposed to be final by 2015.

Also, I can't believe the FPS Russia guy's not even Russian at all. Why would somebody make such a big effort to appear Russian, with the name and fake accent and everything? And not even try to cover it up in real life. Was it just a short-lived attention-grabber to try and get views or YouTube? Does he still make these videos even though everybody apparently knows now? Is it like some unspoken method-actor character he made up or something? Weird...

If the U.S government can build and send a rover to Mars and control it from here, I am pretty sure sooner or later they can build something like that with no problem, lol.

Good point... Given this level of technology that we apparently already have (unless you're one of those fake-moon-landing conspiracy theorists anyway), it's actually shocking that they haven't built something like this yet; it should be easy. But they haven't built it yet... Unless you're a conspiracy theorist of course. 0.o

I feel like the world is so much more capable of exploring space far from what they are capable of now. I saw this video Othersyde, I have to find it, it explains how we are a stage 1 world. A world has 3 stages, but I forgot what the 2nd stage was more about. The 3rd stage was that there is no wars, or fighting among other countries and everyone is pretty much a one world government. Kind of silly but the video is very interesting and very educational lol. A guy explains how he believes other worlds may exist with technology further than we can expect. That he explains that other worlds are stage 3 worlds, exploring so far into space and who are so much more technological advanced due to the fact they are millions and millions of years ahead of us. Of course this is his opinion. And that the world uses it's own natural resources for space exploring. I kind of wondered, well why have they not found us yet? But the universe is so big and never ending that it's a very difficult task to do. Imagine, other worlds out there, that visited other planets and colonized or made them habitable. I have to find that video on youtube and I will share, I know It has nothing to do with this topic but imagine if we could explore the universe with a priority instead of war.

To be perfectly honest I didn't see anything all that amazing. It's funny that that's a fake because DIY quadcopter drones based off Raspberry Pi and/or Arduino can be made in your basement relatively cheaply. One strong enough to carry a significant payload is another matter, but it isn't anything I see as amazing. Honestly, forget Big Brother. Normal citizens can make these. And something that's a big deal you'll see in the next 10-15 years is desktop biological engineering. Almost any of your neighbors could make a drone with a bio payload. Fear "Little Brother".

Very interesting, The BBC did a show a while back with a rotor copter with a camera in it that climbed three stories and filmed the presenters through the window. There didn't seem to be much recoil off this particular machine which probably means it's fake. A propaganda film to show the Russians how wonderful they are. He actually sounds Serbian but some people think I'm English so its an interesting weapons concept but the use of drones and there violation of unreasonable searches may become an issue in the future. As long as we have someone to be afraid of there will always be exceptions to how the Constitution applies to others as 'they' say if you aren't doing anything wrong you've got nothing to worry about.

Russia gets all the toys... And that empty mountainous area, love it! Plenty of room for 1000+ yard target shooting
