Humanities, natural science/mathematics, and social science. I think you need to have at least two different subjects in the general education electives. Intro to Criminal Justice, Intro to LE, and Fundamentals of Counseling are transcribed as social science even though TESC's webpage says human services.

Having only done ALEKS, I can only say it this way, ALEKS is cheaper and allows you to re-learn the material until you are at the 70% mark on their quizzes. It might be worth the $20 to try ALEKS and see how bad it is. If you do well with it and don't need too much brush up on your skills you can finish more than one course for that same price. The nice thing about the CLEP exam is that it is six credits, the downfall is it does nothing to work on your skills so ALEKS might be the answer for you (it was for me).
My completed "non-traditional" credits include 27 credits from CLEP, 30 credits from DSST, 6 credits from ALEKS, 19 credits from FEMA courses including PDS, 3 credits from NFA courses, 10 credits from ACE Workplace Training, 3 credits from a TESC TECEP exam, and 3 credits from a TESC PLA course.

Passed Micro. Signed up for ALEKS for Intermediate Algebra. Going to register for Humanities. And that will be it for the AA General Studies. Will move on to a bachelor of some sort by January.

Have Humanities this weekend. Studying now.
I still haven't touched ALEKS. I just hate math. Anyone know about how long it takes to pass Int. Algebra?

It depends on how well you do to begin with, ALEKS will give you assessments and then teach you the pieces you don't do well with. Then another assessment will appear. Get to 70% on the assessment and then ask ACE to transfer the score (before closing the account or switching to another level of math). It could take a day or it could take a long time depending on how you test. Good luck.

Hey guys, it's been a while. Got a new job and this became a smaller priority. I'm going to pay for and wrap everything up.
Has anything changed in eligibility for the AA General Studies since I started?
I still have to pay for a full year of tuition to get the degree?
