Everyone do your patriotic duty and run to store to clean out all their the milk, bread, eggs and toilet paper!!! That’s the tradition here in the DC Metro Area and to forsake our traditions is simply un-American. It also means that the terrorists will have won.

We are only expecting 6-10 inches here in central NJ. The store wasn't crowded and there was plenty of milk, bread, eggs and I couldn't forget the chocolatemilelol:

I have a huge pot of soup on we have 3/4 of a cord of wood and I am looking forward to a quiet day of staying in.

Yup just got in from braving the roads. It's great out there....as long as you don't mind the rogue snowplows riding up your....bumper. Ya gotta love it!

Actually this is kind of nice. I needed a break and am using this time to study for my next exam and catch up on some stuff around the house. Well, it's nice as long as the electricity stays on that is. I'm hoping that this means we can skip work on Monday...or work from home, yeah that's it!

Anyway the Snowpocalypse has claimed it's first victim: one of the trees in our front yard! Eh, I'll get to it eventually once I dig my way out...

I'm glad I don't live in VA anymore... But then again, we've had quite a bit of snow out here this winter. We were supposed to get some more snow yesterday, but we dodged that bullet. We'll see how much snow we're going to get on Monday, if any.

And I hear that VA is supposed to get even more snow on Tuesday.

Ha, and all my friends back in Delaware laughed at me when I moved to the midwest. I can hear them now, "Oooooh, you're gonna get so much snow!"

Turns out, since I've been here in the WI/MN area, we've gotten a lot less than my old buddies back in DE. But, I will say this much, the folks out here can't drive in snow to save their lives! Don't take offense Ruddigore or Margo. You know I don't mean you guys! It's the other folks I'm talkin' about. Not us.

I felt restless today, I did not feel like shoveling snow (we only got about 8 inches but with 3 males and 3 females in the house all younger then me I figured I had an out) I couldn't go anywhere, my daughter had the TV and I couldn't concentrate to read.

So I joined ALEKSmilelol: I only tested at about 15% the first time, I couldn't remember everything. But now I am bored with it. I just need a refresher in beginning algebra and once I see the right way to do things I say Oh Yea:nopity: I just hate having to do 2-4 questions on every topic or if I make a typo.

Oh well I can just sneak in an hour here and there over the next month and do this between study for Educational Psych. I guess I really didn't need a weekend off

Ha, just got an alert we have 10-20 more of that dern white stuff coming this way. If only I would use the time cooped up to study. Hmmmmm!

[SIZE="5"]Snow DAY[/SIZE] one of my students today already had it marked off on his assignment book. They have Friday and Monday off for Presidents weekend so one kid was hoping it would snow enough to have Wed and THur. off too and have A WHOLE WEEK OFF. I think the natives are restless.milelol:
