Someone on the other forum came out of nowhere with the inside information, but it can now be confirmed that Nations University was accredited in June 2015. Just search for them on the DEAC website.
Directory Of Accredited Institutions
Nations University offers a Certificate of Religious Studies, Bachelor of Religious Studies, Master of Theological Studies, and Master of Divinity. There is a $25 registration fee and $480 annual enrollment fee for students residing in the U.S. Otherwise, tuition is free. Inmates in the U.S. only have to pay a $25 registration fee, and international students pay nothing. Everyone has to pay for textbooks, however.

If you are interested in earning a doctorate or master's, a DEAC-accredited degree will be accepted at Liberty University.

NU is a definition of perseverance and I am glad the accreditation worked out in the end. As an international student who didn't have to pay a cent for my NU education and degree, all I have to say to NU is "thank you for such a challenging experience." As I look forward to my diploma come September, I cannot but feel that sense of pride that envelops one when one is am among the first set of students graduating when a school gets initial accreditation.

I thought I would be finished with school after my PhD, but I think I'll earn an M.Div to go with my ordination from Universal Life Church.
