That would deprive Prometric of their $30 per transcript.

They could still charge....just wouldn't take 6 weeks to send out test scores.

WGU has been using the clearinghouse for their transcripts for years. Every time I've ordered through them (6-8 times) all the transcripts have been sent out next business day.
