The FUNNIEST thing happened to me...RE: Charter Oak's Credential Evaluation Program
#21
Were your CP credits earned as upper or lower level credit? Does it matter to COSC? I have a family member that works as a Paralegal but I figured her credits were lower level (plus they were earned at a Devry like NA accredited institution...Kaiser maybe?).

I would appreciate additional info on this....
MBA, Western Governors University February 2014
BS Charter Oak State College November 2011
AS in EMS August 2010

I'm always happy to complete the free application waiver for those applying to WGU (I get a free gift from WGU for this).  Just PM me your first/last name and a valid email so I can complete their form.

COSC is giving credits for the NALA certification, so it doesn't matter if the paralegal training was received at an RA or NA school. The breakdown of credits is in the original post.

Subject: RE: Credential Evaluation for the CLA/CP Exam

I apologize for the surprise, glad it was a pleasant one! The website is one of the major projects I plan to undertake. The results of credential evaluations are not posted there; it was by design based upon a decision by my predecessor. I am in the process of reviewing everything and will work with our webmaster for a major re-design of all the PLA web pages next year.

Who is your Admissions representative?
Don't miss out on something great just because it might also be difficult.

Road traveled: AA (2013) > BS (2014) > MS (2016) > Doctorate (2024)

If God hadn't been there for me, I never would have made it. Psalm 94:16-19

Sanantone's response is correct. Smile

It would be cool to know what they've already evaluated, but I guess one could always ask.

Yes, I assumed that what was on their website was it but I noticed when I went back that it does same an example or a sample or words to that effect indicating that there are more than what is listed.

They're making a lot of changes next year. There's a huge notice on COSC's blackboard page stating that they will be overhauling blackboard over the next few weeks, and to report any issues.

I'm hoping that they "modernize" their website as well. It's been pretty much the same ever since I first visited the site when I first found BAin4weeks.com back in 2007.

How much does the certification cost? I couldn't find the cost on the NALA website.
TESU BA June 2018.
Various business certificates still to do.

The fees are at the bottom of this page. All of the information on that page is pretty important such as testing windows and criteria for being able to take the exam...that's why I didn't just post the cost.
