I did 429 +-(9.9*2). Truthfully, I failed the damn thing. I think 429 must be the average of all TESU's previous students. The math questions were basic, but there were at the back of the test, so there was no time then. The front side was loaded with passages and questions - A time waster. I did at least ten questions by guessing without reading the prerequisite just so that I could have completed all 40 questions.

You haven't lived until you do the major field test in computer science and then realize 1/2 the questions are based on topics you haven't studied.

One trick is to declare you are a liberal arts major, then you can take that test. Even go as far as adding liberal arts to your degree plan.

I did both the BSBA and BA in Computer Science, so they didn't know which test to give me at the time. I told them I was computer science, but I should have said I was a business major, so I get that test.

As long as there is at least a 1 in a million chance you will switch to liberal arts, you're not lying. Lol.

So how do you submit pdf of score report ? Do you just take a screen shot of score and send it that way ?

I just took a screenshot of score and submitted  a pdf copy of it

My question is, can you retake the ETS Proficiency profile exam several times?

You get 100% credit on it no matter how you do on it. It's not worth preparing for.

I know this is an old post but I didn’t want to make a new one asking the same question… so just to make sure you get 100/100 just for completing the assessment? Regardless of score? This is for both the regular ETS and major field ETS? Because they’re 5% and 10% of the capstone. If the score is going to count then I will study beforehand because 15% is a significant amount of weight if I accidentally bomb both

I can confirm that as of right now, APS-401 (technology capstone) gives you full points just for completion. Same deal with BUS-421 (business capstone) when I took that last year.

This is no longer the case for the Liberal Arts Capstone. It's scaled, I believe the lowest you can get is 75% if you turn it in, however.

I actually just took it last night. To be honest, it was quite tough, especially since I didn't prepare at all. I tried my best for the first 10 questions, but eventually gave up and went through it quickly. Ended up with 140.
