Just wanted to thank everyone who posts here for giving me the knowledge and courage to take my first step in going back to college. I passed my first CLEP, Info Systems & Computer App with a 67. A truly great feeling. April 1 I actually start classes at TESC and am looking forward to that.
Once again, thanks.

Welcome and congrats! One word of warning though, these exams can become addictive! I haven't had to take one for several months and I think I'm going through withdrawl! The first one is always the hardest. I do encourage you to group similar content exams together. I wish I had done that, it would have made things so much easier. Keep up the great work!

Contests. I was grinning from ear to ear too because I realized i just passed a whole college course for about one hundred dollars and two weeks of studying.
If I had known about this when i was in brick and mortar i would have been done years ago. Keep going and think about not taking so many classes at tesc and only taking the ones you cannot test out of or pass through aleks.com or straighter line.com.

I passed my first one this week on Monday, Intro to Pscyh. I was so happy I jumped up and down in the elevator at the testing center. I'm sure security thought I was nuts. But its a great feeling of accomplishment.

Congratulations! Marianne said it best... CLEPS can be very addictive! Once I was done, I found myself trying to think of what to do that didn't involve studying or preparing for an exam... I had to make myself a list of things I could do now with my free time that I couldn't do before! hilarious
