With all the talk of enrolling by July to avoid new requirements, I want to make sure I make it in. I always hear TESC takes FOREVER to process anything. When do you all suggest starting the enrollment process in order to, for sure, be in by July?
I don't want to do it too soon because I will need as much time as possible to finish my degree by next year. So when do I need to start applying, sending in transcripts, enrolling ect...?

You get six months after applying to enroll so now is the time to get the ball rolling. Send in transcripts and get things going now, then in June pay the enrollment fee and you'll be all set.
My completed "non-traditional" credits include 27 credits from CLEP, 30 credits from DSST, 6 credits from ALEKS, 19 credits from FEMA courses including PDS, 3 credits from NFA courses, 10 credits from ACE Workplace Training, 3 credits from a TESC TECEP exam, and 3 credits from a TESC PLA course.

I agree with cooperalex2004, if you truly want to avoid the new requirements, I would apply and send the transcripts immediately. I applied on December 25, and the last of the transcripts were added on March 7. I then analyzed my evaluation and my degree requirements and was able to successfully appeal one my classes, which is going to ultimately give me more freedom in selecting my last general education elective. It took some patience and some emails back and forth to TESC but I got the appeal today-that's almost 3 months until my evaluation was perfect. I think it's a strong possibility that TESC will get more backlogged with transcripts and applications the closer it gets to July.
