Hi, Punky. Don't mean to go all Taxi Driver on you, but you talkin' to me? If so, I wasn't trying to make a point by using and anecdote. I'm not saying that ACA is good, bad, or indifferent. (Though I do think that the health care system in this country needs a major overhall.) I was really just commenting on the "hater" thing. While I'd seen shirts, etc., that read, "don't be a hater" I didn't know what it meant. That was the first time I'd encountered it.

I applied for insurance on the marketplace since my job doesn't offer insurance... It's fairly inexpensive, I pay less than $200/mo for the highest level of insurance HMO (ick) for myself and my daughter... too bad the insurance won't cover my partner....
