I have been cleared by my TESC advisor to take PennFoster's Strategic Business Management (PF course BUS-425) which will go in as TESC BUS-421. You can't get to the course through the regular website. You have to contact them at
Workforce Development and request a single class. If you have already signed up with PennFoster you will be given a different student ID.

Don't mean to hi-jack a thread, but here goes. TriscuiT, please let us know how the class goes. I've taken some PF classes, and I hate them. Not PF specifically, just classes. The CLEP/DSST idea works much better for me. I'm thinking of take TESC's exam that covers it. While I'm hi-jacking threads, does anyone know if that exam is covered in InstaCert? (I'm babbling about Strategic Management.) Thanks.

Does Penn Foster accept FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid)?

Version 7
Penn Foster does not accept FAFSA for any Degree, Diploma, or Certificate program.
Title IV schools offer Federal Financial Aid, including FAFSA, but must be either "Full-Time" or "Half-Time" status according to the government requirements. Penn Foster offers its programs with a self-paced and independent study strategy. This allows students a greater flexibility with their studies. However, since we are not considered "Full-Time" or "Half-time", we do not qualify as a Title IV school and do not offer, nor accept, FAFSA government funding.
The alternative is that your tuition is much lower, payment plans are available, you walk away with NO student debt, and students get the option to work at their own pace. This is very beneficial to single moms, full-time workers, and for students who prefer to study independently without the rigors of a traditional college schedule.
I just wanted to tell you it's nice to see you here, I know you're busy with school, but kudos for sticking with it!!

I'm a little late responding to this, however, I am taking this course now at Pen Foster. The Course is pretty easy in my opinion. The tests are available for preview, which allows you to print it out as a study guide. Then you go online and fill out the same test and submit it. There are 4 tests, 3 1-hour video chats required, 1 project, and 4 discussion questions that must be answered.
The project consists of a case analysis of southwest airlines.

Hi
Thank you for the info. I just start taking the course 2 days ago and I did not get my book yet. I hope to get this done in 3 weeks so I can transfer the credit to TESC to fill my BUS 421.
Are you done yet with this class?
