Tesc enrollment-Is it valid for 12 months?
#1
Hi All: Sorry to ask a silly question - Is the TESC enrollment valid for 12 months from the time I enroll?? For instance, if I enroll today then I'm good until next Feb right?? I really hope that it's not by academic year only.

I'm double checking this because I may not finish in time for graduation until Sept since I am enrolling today for a course at TESC that doesn't finish until May 22. Was really hoping for an Aug graduation but I messed up - I should have enrolled earlier in their course earlier since I needed a GPA for impending grad school application - sigh, sigh..

Getting ready to push the enrolled button and pay $3000 plus...

Hello Tester,

I think by enrolled you mean annual tuition? If so, tuition is for a year. So it would go from the semester you begin (March 1, 2010-February 28,2011). How many credits do you need through TESC? If less than 24, I would go with the enrolled options choice $1215 annual fee + 103 technology fee + $408/3cr course + 45 course reg fee = $1771. My prices may be a hair less than yours given the price increase but I don't think it should be $3000+ for one year??

I wanted to know the answer to this question, as well. In case anyone stumbles across this thread later and needs more information, I got this from the TESC web site:

Quote:Enrolled Options Plan
Some undergraduate students may not require the full complement of credit-earning options and student services covered under the Comprehensive Tuition Plan. For those students who want or need to choose only certain components of the plan, the College offers the Enrolled Options Plan. With this option, students are required to pay the Annual Enrollment Tuition and the Technology Services Fee. Payment of this tuition component entitles students to a full year of College services, including academic advisement and program planning. Students may then choose what College credit- earning methods they require and will be charged for each option.

Enrollment Extension Policy
To be used by those students whose anniversary date occurs up to three months prior to their anticipated graduation date. The anniversary date may be extended up to three months at a cost of $200 per month under the Enrolled Options tuition plan. Students who anticipate a delay of longer than three months must remit the full Annual Enrollment Tuition. In addition, any enrollment extension paid for by a student who was previously under the Comprehensive Plan will be under the Enrolled Options Plan.
