I am pretty sure excelsior is the only one that gives grades for these tests.

Thanks for the input. I am taking my 1st test using only IC with "Here's to Your Health" and just wanted to make sure that anything that is passing would be alright. Thanks again

I hate to piggy back this thread, but since we are on the subject...since TESC doesn't give grades for DSST, then how do the calculate the GPA's, if a person "tested out" of a degree.

You can't "test out" of a degree at Thomas Edison. You must fulfill a residency requirement of 9 credit hours for Associates Degree and 18 credit hours for a Bachelor's Degree.

Since when?

This pdf file seems to suggest that there are no residency requirements (as has been the case historically with TESC).

I'm a TESC student, there isn't a residency requirement. There are various rules about various types of credit- but nothing about residency. Where did you see that??

I have heard about the residency requirement, but I thought it only applied to the Military Degree Completion Program. To my knowledge if you don't enroll in the MDCP then there is know residency requirement. That is why I was wondering how the GPA's are calculated.
