Taking Sociology On Wednesday
#1
Hello

I'm taking the Sociology CLEP on Wednesday and I was wondering if anyone had any tips for this test. I can get through all of the IC cards without missing any, but I tried a Peterson's test and felt uneasy.

Yeah, don't sweat it. Know IC, and you should be in. The Standard Deviant video is great for this one. You can find it for free at your local library. Break a leg.

Peterson's practice tests are more difficult than the real thing (on every test I've taken so far) so don't worry about it. Take the REA practice tests if you can, they are closer to what you will get on the actual test.

Also, this is one of the easiest CLEPs (IMHO).

Good luck - let us know how you do.

I'm glad everyone seems to think this is easy -- I have been going over the IC for a few weeks now but can't seem to memorize them (old brain syndrome), although I understand the basic concepts. I just got the SD videos from my ILL system, so will watch them soon.

Does anyone know if they are appropriate for children to watch? My kids like to learn with me.
