Taking 3 ECEs tomorrow!
#1
I'm in Iraq right now so the only way I can take exams is the one weekend per month that the proctor comes from Baghdad. This is making things much more difficult compared to earlier this year(in Texas). Due to my desire to maximize my time I've been studying for 5 exams in the last four weeks.

Tomorrow I'll be taking the following ECE's: "World Population" "Psychology of Adulthood and Aging" and "Social Psychology."

I have so much info in my head right now I feel lilke my brain is swelling...
My plan of study for these final exams has been to read the actual textbook cover to cover and use the IC cards for review and supplemental study.

Because I'm over here I won't have my results for a good 4 to 5 weeks. I took the Soviet Union DSST about 4 weeks ago here (paper and pencil) and I'm still waiting on the results. In any event, let this be a testament that anyone can get their degree this way -- even in Iraq. Right now I'm trying to help my fellow NCOs use this site and begin building confidence to take CLEPs and DSSTs. It's been a rewarding experience so far.

Adam,

Impressive job you are doing while serving our country. Good for you that you are able to keep it up while doing everything else. 3 ECE in one day is huge. Your brain must be bursting! Good Luck tommorrow. Smile

Hi Adam. Thank you for your service, courage and sacrifice- it is greatly appreciated.
By now you've already taken your exams...great job! That's a lot of information to retain for one day! You are providing a good example for all of us, not only to pursue our goals, but to help and support others along the way.

Thanks everyone for your encouragment, I do appreciate it. The exams went very well. I think Social Psychology was the easiest. Psy. of Adulthood & Aging was more challenging. I feel confident that I did well on all of them....hopefully at least B's! We'll see.

I have two credits left to go: English Comp (EC) and the World Conflicts ECE Exam.

That is awesome! Good for you working on this while overseas. My husband is Army and has done 3 tours in the last 6 years - Quatar, Cuba and or course Iraq. Thanks for all you do - believe me, I know what is involved and am deeply appreciative.

I see that Rise and Fall of the Soviet Union is on your list - any pointers on that one? I am a History major hoping to finish up this spring and I need one more upper level. Thanks!
