Did Charter Oak back out of the Alternative Credit Project?
The college is no longer listed on the Alternative Credit Project's website and the links to information about it on Charter Oak's website no longer work.

Were they ever in it? I don't remember. Either way, they still take ACE credit, and the ACP courses are all ACE evaluated so you should be good. It would be handy to have a transfer guide though, you'll have to do it long hand and look up the individual sources (Saylor, Study.com, etc.) that way.

They were part of it, weird... the link I had in previous posts point to a page 404 message.
I wonder what really happened to them and he ACP. Anyways, they still should accept ACE credits...

Yeah they were in the ACP. The archived versions of those pages are preserved at archive.org.
I wonder why they did this and if it affects students with ACP entries on their transcripts. You can usually change most of the ACP entries, but there are a few oddballs that are only listed as ACP.

They were not. When I had my interview with the ACP director I specifically asked about Excelsior and he told me they didn't see the need to join since they accepted those credits anyway. That's all I got from him- but I'm not totally sure if that's true. It only HELPS a college to have their name listed on a partnership agreement.

Ok, so here is something strange. On ACP's Facebook page, they advertised their relationship with COSC on September 2nd and suggested it to complete a degree. I sent them a message asking for clarity- they don't have the most active page though, not sure when I'll hear.

Plus, you have the equivalencies readily available. Most of the companies don't have a direct partnership with Excelsior or any other school, so they don't have equivalency charts on their websites.
