Hi All, I may forgo the CIS concentration and just complete the General Management degree instead.
I only need one more course for General Management, an UL Marketing course or Finance course.
For the CIS, I will need to do 4 more courses from Saylor to complete it, I don't know how long that will take.
I will be applying for graduation this month (before October 1) and I don't know if I have the time to finish it.
Does anyone have any recommendations for a quick 3 credit UL Marketing course that can be completed quickly?
For me, price/speed to finish is a concern as well. Thank you, your feedback is much appreciated!
Goals: TESU BSBA GM (Added CIS) and BA Computer Science
BSBA GM - Added CIS AOS (CIS & GM completed)
BACS & Grad Plans (BACS instead of BALS w/NSM)
AAS ACS & ESST: Remaining - Associate Capstone
ASNSM CS: Completed, ASNSM Math: Remaining - Calculus I
Taking a majority of credits at Sophia.org, SL, and Study.com to finish these degrees
Updating my courses remaining by following forum advice, guide, spreadsheet & wiki

A TECEP requires "enrolling" so you couldn't take it until Oct 1st. If that's quick enough, I would suggest doing one of the TECEPs. Marketing Comm has essay questions and I think the others don't.
The Study.com Digital Marketing course is possibly no longer UL, and has 2 projects. Davar's Principles of Sales has a case study assignment. So that depends on you. Some people can knock out a written assignment in an hour or two.

I passed the Davar Principles of Sales exam during the June unlimited exams promo. It was actually not that difficult to pass. All of the answers are in the material provided. I completed the Study.com Digital Marketing course also, but I highly recommend Principles of Sales.

The study.com course SHOULD still be UL, but you can always contact TESU and see before taking it.

Update, I have a few questions. Anyone take the following Study.com courses?
1) What's the difference between Biology 102 and Genetics 101?
I don't see much difference in the courses as they have about the same amount of lessons.
Biology 102: Basic Genetics = BIO-241 : Human Genetics
Genetics 101: Intro to Genetics = BIO-241 : Human Genetics
2) How hard are the following courses and how long did it take you to finish them?
Biology 106: Pathophysiology = BIO-316 : Pathophysiology
Business 309: Digital Marketing & Advertising = MAR-441 : Marketing with Digital and Social Media
Marketing 301: Marketing Research = MAR-211 : Intro to Marketing Research

The quizzes for MAR-441 are easy, especially if you have some prior knowledge. I felt that one of the writing assignments was hard, but I guess if someone is looking to pass and doesn't care about grade, it doesn't matter. I guess I spread out the assignments over 2-3 days and the quizzes were only a few hours. Someone may be able to knock it out in a day.
Pathophysiology kind of depends on whether you know some of it already. I thought it was harder than all my other courses, but I don't think Study.com is very hard in general (especially if you only care about barely passing) except for that one assignment above. I had some prior knowledge, and I did it in 2 days, but I was pushing myself because I had other deadlines. It was harder than Genetics and Microbiology.
I think those genetics courses are the same, they're just putting them under different headings.

I would recommend for Straighterline/Study.com courses, you take up to 5 courses and not too many a month. It's hard to "retain" that information if you go too fast. So, in your case, if you're taking a few, I would try to get one course done each week as a target.

Study.com told me that the genetics courses are the same. They gave them different names because some schools might be looking for different names. I don't think it matters as much as they think it does.
