TESU / SNHU / Purdue Global - Need Course Plan please
#1
Hello

Can some one please share me
which courses will match in study.com / sophia.org / straight liner      <= Which of these are best to use ?
for the following

TESU
BSc in Cyber Security
BA in Computer Science
BSc in Information Technology

Purdue Global
Bachelor of Science in Cloud Computing and Solutions
Bachelor of Science in Information Technology
Bachelor of Science in Cyber Security

SNHU
Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems
Bachelor of Science in Computer Science
Bachelor of Science in Cyber Security
Bachelor of Science in Information Technologies

WGU
I cannot join this, cause they do not accept students from abroad.

I would highly appreciate if someone can tell
1) Which courses should i do , so i quickly start them.
2) I presume most of the above degrees, the course will have over-laps.

I have decided to choose any one of those above.. especially for immigration purposes.
And plan to finish quickly in 6 months (starting from December 2022)

Please i would highly appreciate, if any senior members, can make a route plan.
Should i also do any Coursera Certificates, to quickly add credits.

Also suppose if i reach 60 credits.
Can the above university, can provide Associate Degree, by the time i am completing Bachelors.

Is there any DISCORD Group also for above universities, as i may need some help, and its healthy to see what other students doing, to remain motivated, and clear doubts in quick manner.

Guys need help!  Have made up my mind.

Basically most of the threats are about that... Did you check them?
Probably you will find the information you ask for.
What you are asking encompasses many post.
In general is recomended to start for Sophia and do what you can there. Then depend where you want to go or study. Could you be more concrete?
Is a post, pinned, explaining the usually asked question, this way can help you more effectively since you focus your background and wishes.

Sophia is the quickest/cheapest so do everything you can there. Then do Study.com

For TESU, I only recommend the computer science degree.

Is there any YouTube video or something..
I can check how is the way of teaching of Sophia.Org classes

Is it comfortable for a Lay-man to be able to grasp all what they are teaching

Or we have to learn from other sources too?

Ok i just started Intro to College Mathematics...

Does Sophia.org has any proctored exams also ?

*But none of the above are in the Top 100-300 in the rankings...* Did you come to the conclusion that these will do for you? You should take your time reading through some forum posts/threads and the WIKI for the degree plans in place. Compare the requirements, we usually recommend the Sophia.org and Study.com combo to get you to the 90 credits, then you can take the remaining courses as needed. Follow the degree plans and customize it to your liking... make a spreadsheet for reference and tracking purposes...

Hehehe..
You are Champ.
I was waiting for your response.

Actually i have decided the following
To grab the Bachelors quickly in 6-8 months... For immigration purposes..
As i have consulted few immigration consultants, all suggested, It will help alot to increase points. So this is the only way out.
And than later i may decide what to do with "Top 100-300 rankings Uni"  I hope for Masters, top ranked universities would accept.

Since my field is IT / Cloud
So these type of employers.. they like to see Certifications i hold...
As i am already about to give exam for various AWS, Azure Cloud Certifications, CCNA as well.. to boost my profile (in terms for Job propsective)

Actually we all now know the reality, in this recession, i have seen many employees who studied from Top universities also got sacked.. and some also those who studied from universities ranking 1000+ still remained... So at times its HYPE too all about Universities ranking... But at times, own personally one feels a little happy proud feeling that i studied from top 300 university etc..etc. Big Grin

If i take courses from Study.com and Sophia.com
Am i able to transfer credits to two university ?

Suppose if i plan to take 2 Bachelor Degrees ?
Like
Bachelor of Science in Computer Science  and   BSc in Cyber Security
I will than scan which content syllabus is good for these two from these 3 unis => TESU, SNHU, Purdue Global

Another option i had was that
I enroll for Associate Degree... Get the Degree... submit my immigration documents.... so instead of waiting 6-8 months for Bachelors.. i can do Associate Degree in 3 months or so... and submit documents... (If only the POINTS System is not HUGE Difference between Associate Degree vs Bachelors)
And than also continue for Bachelors Degree too ?

Share your thoughts please....

I wouldn't suggest doing two bachelor's degrees in technology.  Either do IT/Cyber Security or Computer Science.

For Cyber Security, a lot of the skills will be gained from doing certifications. Once you have some experience in Cyber Security and know for sure this will be your career, then, for example, you can do a masters in Cyber Security from WGU (If you move to U.S.) or Georgia Tech.

I am thinking to start off with
Associates.. So at-least i get this completed.. and i can submit the documents for immigration....

And in background i do Bachelors...

As time is important currently for me... So by submitting and having Associate Degree, will help me obtain better points, slight less than bachelor points -> but still better than nothing.

Your opinion please..

I am thinking to do two associates at same time. Maybe one from SNHU .. or One from Purdue or TESU...

Check with the immigration consultants again to be sure, but I don't believe that an Associate's degree will be at all helpful for immigration. It'll be a detour and a waste of time & money.
