Hello all, quick question. I know that that the SDC affiliate cornerstone waiver went away in July. Thankfully I have already had it applied to my degree plan. I am wondering if anyone happens to know, if I decide to add another degree to my plan(such as an ASBA) if they will waive it for that as well?

You're in good shape, it's not needed... Do you already have an Associates from somewhere? If not, you can both get the Associates of Arts and the ASBA, as they are the only ones and maybe the AA CJ degree that do not require both the capstone and cornerstone, but you can only get two AA's free en route to your Bachelors... and a max of two Bachelors as well.

I don't have any other associates. I thought the 3 ASNSM(biology, math, CS) also didn't require capstones(maybe they went away?) It's good to have options but I'm personally not concerned with the AA as that adds zero value to me and my resume. I know the ASBA doesn't add much either but I figure that for the cost of a few extra CLEPs(free) I can knock that out as well on my way to my BS.

The 3 ASNSM do not require the capstone, but they do have cornerstones now. You should be fine with them as well, you may need to verify with TESU when you apply for graduation, in any case, once you reach 104+ credits for your Bachelors, that waiver should be unlocked.

Awesome, good to know! Thanks for the help!
Although, my academic evaluation shows I have 97 credits applied to my current degree. At the very bottom, under "other courses" I have another ~50 credits.

There is not a cornerstone for each degree - it's just a single cornerstone for the school. It's a ridiculous waste of time and money, BTW, but luckily it only takes an hour or two to complete.

Is there information about that 104 credit transfer on the TESU website? I can't find anything about it.
