I forgot about this. It's not as big a deal, though. Complete the required 24 RA credits first and then the Accuplacer doesn't need to be taken. Or, if OP's birthday is within the next month or so, wait until 20th birthday to actually apply, thereby bypassing the need for either the Accuplacer or the Age Waiver.

Agree it's not a "big deal" about the age waiver process. Wasn't my point. Just wanted OP to know about it. The general advice is that one applies right now to lock in catalog. Well, if OP at age 19 does that application right away today without 24 RA credits already in place, then accuplacer has to be taken within 30 days of application and that might not be easy to do with finding a test center in some place this time of year and with covid. (edit to add: yes, some places do offer remote option. mileage will vary. OP has some leg work to do to figure it out.) It adds a step or two to the whole process but is not a big deal... just need to know. And if OP has birthday soon, then waiting a bit can have a benefit (as others have said). OP will need 24 RA credits regardless of age issues, but does not have them right now.

Okay, AmenSandhu, I have updated the Psychology plan on the wiki to reflect the updated TESU policies. The GE roadmap is no longer quite so neat and tidy looking but at least you'll be able to see where to fill the different requirements and make plans that fit your needs/budget.

With the Psych roadmap, UExcels are also an option for some of the courses. At $110 and with several being UL (research methods; social psych [though only 3 credits]: adulthood and aging), they can be a good option. Not sure if you wanted to leave out the 'test out' options from the wiki roadmap though, since many people prefer to do coursework rather than pure testing.

My birthday Is next October sadly... : I guess I'll have to get all of my RA credits first and then enroll to TESU

That plan does not take the new policy into account. But it is a good place to start. Since you are starting from scratch, I would suggest:

1. Apply to and enroll at TESU right away to lock in the current catalog year and get full student privileges.
2. Sign up for Sophia for $149 for the year. This is a STEAL. The price is only good until the end of December so you want to snag that first. Then you'll have 12 months to work on that.
3. Plan to take 8 courses from TEL Learning. It doesn't matter which, but you may want to avoid the communications/public speaking one due to the sheer amount of work involved. You could also take some from ASU Earned Admissions or similar but TEL Learning is the cheapest.
4. Take everything at Sophia that fills out your general eds and doesn't overlap with the courses you've chosen at TEL Learning.
5. Take the AOS requirements at Study.com/Coopersmith.

You might want to move the AOS to the top of the list, at least the UL requirements, but that's essentially what you need to do. Whether or not you can do this in a year will depend upon how much time you have to devote to your studies. It's certainly possible that you'll have your degree by next Christmas but it's not guaranteed.

How do you get Sophia for $149 for the year? I only see the $79/month option when I go to their website.
