Just got this email:
I am contacting you today to let you know that, effective immediately, the acceptance of Shmoop courses as transfer credit at Thomas Edison State University is indefinitely suspended pending further review.
Our records show that you have either already taken Shmoop courses for transfer or have discussed taking them with an academic advisor. Any Shmoop course credits already accepted and applied to your academic evaluation will be honored and may, where appropriate, be used to fulfill degree requirements.
Additional Shmoop courses documented as planned on your academic evaluation will also be honored but only if they were approved by an advisor prior to May 2, 2018. In order to have those approved transfer courses honored, we must receive your official ACE transcript with all approved courses listed as complete to Thomas Edison State University by May 30, 2018.
I'm so glad I got mine submitted in March. Yikes!

Here too - appears they're sending it to all who have been, or thought about being, Shmoopified. All I know is that Shmoop US History was the toughest "C" I had ever earned; I gave up on Shmoop right after.
Everyone who has Shmoop credit on your ACE account transcript you need to send TESU an ACE transcript ASAP - "In order to have those approved transfer courses honored, we must receive your official ACE transcript with all approved courses listed as complete to Thomas Edison State University by May 30, 2018"

Personally, I think that TESU is reviewing them because they can see people completing Shmoop courses very rapidly, like 3 or more in a week. On this forum you hear about a couple of them being particularly easy and quick.
However, I agree, a bunch of the Shmoop courses are really not easy. At least the subjects I've tried - lit and history. Also, math was typical and not easy.
Very disappointed here, because I was planning to do more Shmoop next week. I don't even need the credits but I wanted a few, and I was thinking of getting another TESU degree.

You should be ok if you get your ACE transcript in by May 30. Apparently anyone who's already completed courses or has them on their eval can still finish them.

I finished 1 a month ago and only sent it last night. Going to not be very happy if they dont accept it.
