Congratulations to all the June graduates! cheersmate Tiny chance I may make the Sept. cutoff, but I'm shooting for Dec.
BSBA/Accounting TESU (2016). MSA UIUC (2018).
Need help with portfolios? I earned 18 credits at TESU through portfolio evaluations. Nine of those were for upper level accounting courses. My advice for PLA/portfolios: TESU portfolio tips The first post has the Portfolio Checklist I created. Page ten has the actual narrative I wrote to receive credit for ACC-440.
Using Straighterline's Financial Accounting as a substitute for TESU's Intermediate Accounting I? Don't do it if you are an accounting major and/or want your CPA license. They are not the same course and I think TESU has erred in accepting the SL course as Intermediate I. I made this discovery here: Intermediate Accounting II.

Thank you!
I wanted to take the January capstone but by the time I got the money together, there was no room left in the guided study sections. So I used January to finish up other requirements and my evaluation has been updated and status changed to Anticipating Completion.

Another question: who is attending the commencement ceremony in September?

Solid additional question ladylearner . My initial thought was to not even entertain traveling West Coast to East Coast for the event. However, with there being so much time to think about it (7 months), I am leaving the door open. Could be something I might look back and regret that I did not attend. My wife feels that I should go and with that many months of her encouraging me to go, I should stop pretending anything but me attending will happen. :roflol:

As of today my degree requirements are DONE! :hurray: So now I'm down to needing 9 credits to meet the rest of the residency credits. If I can complete them during the April & May terms (because I've been waiting far too long on a certain check) then I will be set for the September graduation. I'm still debating if I will actually go to the commencement ceremony since its all the way on the other side of the country.
