I registered for my first TECEP in February but never actually scheduled it because life got hectic - but now I'm going back to being productive. Since I'm enrolled, do these residency changes affect me? Is the plan that was valid for my BSBA/Marketing in January still valid? Do you think they'd let me schedule that TECEP I missed scheduling, or did I learn a $100 lesson?
Thanks in advance! (Also I missed this place. And I missed feeling accomplished!)

Yes, the residency changes affect you. Any TECEP's you have taken up to now count towards your residency, and you now have a 16cr residency requirement. But, you can no longer use TECEP's to count towards residency (last availability was the May term); although you can still use TECEP's towards your degree.
And, unfortunately, you can't reschedule TECEP's. That's $111 down the tubes. I found that lesson out the hard way myself.

Thank you!
I'm having a hard time finding threads on how to handle the residency requirements. What's the current convention for dealing with this? I see there's a $2k fee you can pay to waive residency - Is there a more cost effective way to do this? Does this mean COSC is more cost effective than TESU now?

No, there isn't a more cost effective way than the residency waiver fee. My understanding is that for the business degrees, TESU is still more cost effective because one can test out of the Capstone and the new Cornerstone is only $300.

Were you planning on taking the Penn Foster Strategic Management course? There has been some conflicting information on it, but it looks like it will only be accepted as BSBA capstone for a little longer.
