Can anyone shed some light into the difficulty or types of questions that I will face during the Capstone midterm?
Outside of reading the text, how should I best prepare?

When I took the midterm for BUS-421 back in the beginning of 2018. there were 10 multiple-choice questions and 4 essay questions. The essay questions make up the bulk of your grade, so it's definitely worth focusing on those.
In the midterm study guide that's provided, there should be several points marked with an
(E), denoting that they could be an essay question. In addition, I'd highly suggest using this set of flashcards created by
