Coursera Certs
#1
Hey yo,

Was wondering if I have done IBM Full Stack Software Dev and Google Cloud Cybersecurity, will all 21 credits come in or are CYB-1999: Special Topics in Information and ITS-2999 Special Topics in Information the same subject?

A little confused the past couple of days planning everything out. Especially when I can't find the 999:'Special Topics' subjects anywhere on TESU's page.

How updated is the Wiki and should I take all the information that's on it and plan with that since that's what I've been doing.

Last question for now I guess, does introduction to ethics on Sophia count toward the Ethical Leadership general ed. I know that the wiki says yes but just wanted more firm confirmation?

Intro to Ethics counts towards Ethical Leadership. It comes in as PHI-1800 Intro to Ethics. You can see the full general education requirements options recorded here: https://degreeforum.miraheze.org/wiki/Sa...ts_Roadmap

The courses ending in 999 mean that there is no exact matching class at TESU for the class or cert. You can have more than one class of those with the same number. The Wiki is in pretty good shape for these certs - the Google Cloud ones were just recently added: https://degreeforum.miraheze.org/wiki/Coursera

IBM Full Stack comes in as follows:
CLD-1100 Intro to Cloud Computing 3 credits
ITS-2310 Database Programming 3 credits
CLD-4200 Architecting Cloud Solutions 3 credits
ITS-2999 Special Topics in Information Technology 3 credits
COS-2050 Python Programming 3 credits
(15 credits total)

Google Cloud Cybersecurity comes in as follows:
CYB-1200 Introduction to Cybersecurity 3 credits
CYB-1999 Special Topics in Information Technology 3 credits
CYB-4210 Cybersecurity Risk Analysis & Mgmt 3 credits
(9 credits total)
Completed: HAU MBA | BA Economics (US) | Finland Open Studies @ XAMK/Metropolia/Helsinki/Laurea
Certs Completed: Scrum CSPO/CSM | Google PM/Data Analytics/Marketing

Forgot to mention in your other thread that I highly recommend deciding on the degree and institution, also work on a balanced mix/match of certs, degree, experience to enhance your portfolio for future use. As an example, if CS isn't really what you need or want, you can go for UMGC for their BAT where you have your option to create your own CS/IT based classes list for personal or professional development. Here's a very recent post in regards to that... Link: https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/Thread-...#pid428056
