TESU - BSBA CIS Evaluation Completed - Suggestions requested : Electives
#1
I am looking for recommendations on 16.34 Semester Hours at TESU (Possibly 12.34)

I have attached my academic evaluation. It is working off the 2012 catalog as that is when I started working on completing a TESU degree. I travel for work and have kids so I have been working on this off and on for four years. I am looking for the easiest, quickest, and cheapest way to obtain these credits. Easiest and quickest taking priority over cost.

I have a large overage of CIS credits from an aa degree I obtained in information security a while ago.

I need
1. Humanities Elective 3 Credits.

2. General Education Electives: 3 credits and 2 credits
Does anyone know if the SQL programming course should work here? I see Database Management in the General Education Course list from TESU.

3. Accounting 1 and 2: 2 courses
I took Intermediate Accounting 1 & 2 at Penn Foster. I am now considering completing Financial and Managerial accounting there as well. I prefer this over straighterline as I believe SL requires using ProctorU
4. System Analysis and Design: 3 credits
Waiting to see if they will accept my technical college credit for this course.

I have attached my academic evaluation.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

The free Insurance Ethics course will count as 2cr in Humanities (Gen Ed area). A&I Lit is supposed to be an easy way to get 6cr there. Technical Writing is a humanities area, and I thought the TECEP was easy (they have a DSST too, or Study.com). World Religions through DSST, Study.com or SL.

Cybersecurity for Business Professionals (CIS-244) should count as a Gen Ed, and it's free. ALEKS Intermediate Algebra would only be $20 and is a Gen Ed.

Financial & Managerial Accounting is also available through Study.com.

I would definitely appeal the Systems Analysis & Design course, you just need the syllabus from your CC.

Thought I replied to this already.

If they do not take you classes for System Analysis and Design, then the CSU Global CBE may be an option.

Maybe. E-mail registrar@tesu.edu and explain to them the similarities between the SQL programming course and database management, and most importantly include a link to the syllabus of the description for the SQL programming course. I did that successfully once for different courses, and TESU re-equated and applied my credits in the appropriate place.

If you do this, post back here and let me know how it went!
