Latest news and yet another roadblock. In case anyone is hesitant that this whole quick and cheap degree thing is just too easy, never fear. You still have hoops to jump through ;-) They're just not as bad.
So hubby got the call on 10/6 from TESU. He then went to register for Capstone and he can't find it. Only Cornerstone. Since he has to let the school know about his Study.com discount anyway he's been trying to call them all day and once again he is being sent straight to voicemail. I know today might be a holiday for them but is it typical to not get a hold of anybody for days on end? Is there someone he can email about signing up for the class and getting the discount instead? He wasn't given any specific contact info when TESU called saying his application was accepted. How long does he have until November Capstone closes for enrollment?

I would recommend S.Ryan but that person has no more spaces and it's closed for this Liberal Arts capstone.

Nov Capstone closes for enrollment on the 14th... you can then enroll late until the 29th but there is a penalty fee.
Since they were not answering phones, I emailed admissions. We'll see how long it takes for them to get back to me.

Any idea why he's closed? I was looking up reviews and he looks pretty good.

Yup, people reading this board and other reviews snatched up all 15 spots for this online course. I think the teaching material is the same, but the way the person teaches it is the one reason that I would choose them over others. I don't really care how desirable the grade is that I can achieve, as long as I learn what I wanted from that course.

Yes, TESU is closed on weekends and holidays. So are most schools. I wouldn't think you'd be getting in touch with anyone there until tomorrow.

Just to clarify, he had been calling every day last week trying to figure out if his application was accepted or not. And they didn't respond to his phone calls, from the first day he called and left a message to the day they called to let him know he was enrolled, until five business days later (10 business days after he applied, 4 days longer than they say they'll take). That's why I'm concerned and frustrated. Nothing to do with the weekend or holiday, just the overall lack of response despite their voicemail saying they respond in 24 hours.
He did try using the LS drop down menu - we had looked it up on here before he went to register - and it wasn't even showing as offered. Just the cornerstone. So now he's not sure if there's some weird hold on his account, if something was glitching on their system, or what. Again, he has to let them know about his Study membership anyway so he has to call regardless. But this has been a funky process. Hoping it's not like this when I'm ready to register for Capstone! We'll see if they call back today from his voicemail yesterday. I hope so. @Joeman200 what address did you use to email?

I would recommend emailing BOTH admissions to see your status AND enrollment services to enroll in that course.
I would do it ASAP before 4:30 pm EST and you should receive feedback tomorrow at the earliest, hopefully.

I used the admissions address bjcheung77 just posted. I haven't heard back yet (as of 2:50 EST today)... I'm hoping they get it done soon so I can sign up for the capstone. (Do you pay when registering for a course?)
@Doodlebabe have you looked into what instructor to go with for the capstone?
