Congratulations to you. Maybe I should think about a commencement ceremony scholarship for future TESU who might want to attend commencement but can't afford to.

We could also research and come up with the most cost effective way for graduates to attend. Some of us who know the area can help pick reasonable hotels and eating establishment and those with booking savey could lend their talents. This way we could help the most people be able to attend.
I attended my High School graduation but we did not get to walk up and get our diploma, we just stood in place. When I went to that first grad. ceremony and got to walk up on stage it was the best feeling in the world. All who have worked so hard for it should have that opportunity.

Congrats to all of us who have finally made it.
This is my first time posting on Degree forum. - I have just acquired my Associate of Science in Business Administration. (To be continued)
I must say, If it wasn't for all of you guys, here, at Degree forum. I wouldn't have made it to were I am now. Academic wise.
THANK YOU to each and everyone of you!! For all the knowledge you've shared with all of us!.
I am looking forward to attending the upcoming Commencement and I would appreciate any ideas..
My (almost) 9 year old want to come with me soo badly, travelling from Michigan. However, friends and relatives will not be able to travel with us due to work, etc.
(1) Would you take a kid with you, or?
(2) Would you recommend Bus or train?
(3) Do you know of any hotels around the area?
Thanks again

Hello,
I'm from Michigan as well, I found tickets on spirit really reasonably, I was told if I went to the airport it would be cheaper. I went and got round trip airfare for 34.00 round trip flying into Philly which was only 30 mins away from the Commencement area, needless to say I spent 171.00 for 5 round trip tickets. We are staying at the Sonesta Suites which is in Princeton NJ, that hotel has a kitchen etc. so it made more since, it is right down from the Hampton Inn that the school has blocked rooms for graduates attending. If its just you and your child, I'm not sure how that would work while you participate in the ceremony.

Nice, Mike. You're in Bergen County? I'm in Hudson County. We're neighbors.
