I don't think so. I believe you have to enroll first before taking any classes at TESC, including the capstone, which of course means you'll have to pay that annual fee of $2,300+.
Thomas Edison State College: You can enroll anytime using our online enrollment form and once enrolled, you can access all student services

The fee is $2958 plus a $117 tech services fee (
Thomas Edison State College: Enrolled Options Plan). If you don't enroll first then credits are going to cost $414 per credit! (See
Thomas Edison State College: Non-Enrolled Student Tuition)
You're kind of stuck paying the fee unless you want to pay an additional $579 in tuition (3 credits @ $193 more per credit).
It's possible, but I don't see the justification to pay $579 extra.
My completed "non-traditional" credits include 27 credits from CLEP, 30 credits from DSST, 6 credits from ALEKS, 19 credits from FEMA courses including PDS, 3 credits from NFA courses, 10 credits from ACE Workplace Training, 3 credits from a TESC TECEP exam, and 3 credits from a TESC PLA course.

I just dont have the money right now to cough up $2958.
taking class a non enrolled is too much too. ($414 x 3 credit = $1242)
almost half of the enrolled fee.
i should just wait until i have the money to enroll. (i have 6 months from the first evaluation right?)
always thank you for the information.

Interesting, I did not know this. Seems like a waste of money though.
