TESC and Social Science question...
#11
As far as my humanities requirement goes, I'll just take the Humanities CLEP instead of the American Literature CLEP. Since I've already studied for this exam, I'll just take it to meet my core requirements. I was trying my best to avoid the Humanities CLEP exam but I guess I can't dodge it forever!!!

I have updated the word document attachment I posted previously.

Thanks for giving me the heads up.

Peace be with you all.

Marshall,
I used Technical Writing to meet my other subject requirement in humanities, it was a piece of cake. Also, if you have already studied for American Lit, take it anyway. It can be used as a general education elective. It's 6 credits, I wouldn't drop it so easily!

Please forgive me as I haven't been too sleep yet!!! I should have made that more clear. I am not dropping the American Literature CLEP. The American Literature CLEP is the one I was referring to when I said that "since I've studied for this exam already." I am scheduled to take this exam on 8/4. I would have taken it on July 24 but when I got to the testing center, the system crashed and I was unable to take the exam. I was so ticked off!

To meet the "must have 2 subject areas" in Humanities, I will just take the Humanities CLEP...I have already completed A&I Literature. I will take the American Literature CLEP to satisfy the "Area of Study: Liberal Studies" requirements. Technical Writing is on my list to take as well under this category.

TESC allows you to take 2 100 level courses maximum for your UL requirements. So since you guys stated that they'll split this exam (American Literature) in half...that will meet the requirement. I guess it would be the same as me taking American Literature LIT-291 & American Literature LIT-292 for 3 credits each...making them in essence, two separate classes so that makes sense.

Hope this clarifies things. Thanks to everyone for their input, it is greatly appreciated.

Peace be unto you all.

From a loyal degree seeker,

Marshall

P.S: Any more feedback on my degree plan is welcome. I love feedback!!!

Hey Marshall,

If you need a online class to get an "A" take the 1 unit lib/biblio class at a Community College or Speech from BYU or Art/Theater class.

Cultural Diversity is also an easy A, just take it from a Jr. College.
