TESC - Which BA/BS degrees can you accomplish testing only ??

Hello all in this remarkable forum.
I've been reading through threads for weeks now and am impressed with the generosity shown by forum members.

My question is -
Which TESC degrees can be accomplished using testing only? (capstone not withstanding).
My goal would be to clep/dsst/fema nearly everything while leaving a couple courses for GPA purposes.
I've seen a few threads address this question but its not completely clear which degrees work best for this scenario.

Would greatly appreciate any advice and am hoping to talk to a few people who have accomplished this.

As far as I know, TESC requires all students to take at least two course with them directly to qualify for graduation. I don't think they care which two. I am using CollegePlus to guide me through the process of completing my BS through TESC. They have been a big help in doing all the research for me with regard to which tests qualify for which classes.

I took no classes from TESC for my BALS. (pre-capstone) I believe you can still test out of everything except the capstone for the BALS.

TESC only requires the capstone to be taken with them for all BA programs and most BS programs. Just to make sure I'm clear, that is only one required course that has to be taken with TESC and it is specifically the capstone. The BSBA in General Management can be completely tested out of including the capstone. You don't need to pay CollegePlus to help you complete a degree. What a ripoff! The company only has 3 ACE-approved courses, so you're basically paying them thousands of dollars for information you can get for free here or directly from TESC.

The only plan I did not do was for the BA in Liberal Studies because that would take too long, but you can completely test out of it (except capstone). There are a lot of tests to choose from for that program. The other programs you can completely test out of (except capstone) are Social Science and Psychology. You could probably get pretty close to testing out of a History degree.

Is there a good resource on which cleps/dsst/fema etc, count toward which elective courses?

You do not have to take this course as a capstone, you can test out of it with a TECEP, so like sanantone said, this degree can be completely tested out of.

Yep. The Strategic Management TECEP fulfills the requirement or you can take it as a course somewhere else and transfer it in. Penn Foster offers it and it was ACE-approved the last time I checked.

Which degree program are you talking about? There are general education electives, area of study electives, and free electives.

Before the capstone requirement, it was possible to completely test out of Liberal Arts, Social Sciences, History (if you got fancy), and Psych (again, fancy).

Many other degrees you can usually meet up to 90-100 units just by testing, but will ultimately require some online class time for the upper level units.
