Any word yet if the Science will require a lab?
Thanks again!
No one has gotten an answer yet on SL Intro to Communications. According to Online Student Services, a science lab is not required. You just need 4 credits or more. My science area was filled with the 6-credit Biology CLEP.

Liberal studies, social science, natural science and mathematics, and communications will remain the same. I have to make some minor rearrangements for biology.
I recently applied to TESC and have had my transcripts sent to them to obtain an evaluation. I have an AA from a community college already, so I'm hoping most of my gen ed transfers. I also took several sociology and psychology courses.
I was planning to try and test out of a BA Psychology degree. With the recent updates, is this: Sanantone's BA in Psychology - Degree Forum Wiki no longer viable? How many courses can't be tested out of now?
I see 4-7 credits "Understanding the Pysical & Natural World" as mentioned earlier in the thread, but are those the only 'new' courses required? Here is the current catalog: Thomas Edison State College: Psychology
would Social Science or English be easier majors to test out?

Information Literacy and Oral Communication are new. TESC now splits quantitative literacy and natural science. Math courses no longer count as natural science courses. Statistics now counts as a mathematics course. No, that test out plan is no longer current as of July 1, 2015. As ladylearner pointed out, Tor College Credits will help with most of the new requirements.

Thanks for the work Sanantone. Would it be okay if we also keep the old gen eds page on the wiki for students still under the old catalog?

I agree with the sanantone praise, really why I decided to switch to distance ed. You should be getting paid. Unfortunate that there's no confirmation on that StraighterLine course for the speech requirement. Does the DSST Principles of Public Speaking work? You list it and Torah College Credits but you list Torah with a quesiton mark on your wiki Sanantone.

TESC lists COM-209 as satisfying the oral communication requirement, and the official equivalency of the DSST is COM-209. I do not know the official equivalency of the Tor College Credit course.
