TESC Strategic Management Straighterline Course Equivalent?

Does anyone know if there is a straighterline course that counts as Business Policy (Strategic Management) for TESC? I think Organizational Behavior will but it shows as a transfer of MAN-311 according to what I have seen while searching the forum. I thought that Business Policy has to be BUS-311? Any help would be appreciated I don't want to use Penn Foster if I can help it, and I like how I can go at my own pace with the Straighterline courses.

But since it is a capstone required for the BSBA Gen Man degree, i believe you can only take it through TESC.. but it is available through TECEP. Strategic Management used to be named Business Policy, and currently is listed as Bus-421 Strategic Management. With TECEP you can go at your own pace as well. You just have 3 months to complete it and can test as soon as your 3rd week into the 12 week term.

Im pretty sure SL does not offer an equivalency for this, and I have no experience/knowledge about Penn Foster.

You can either take it as a TECEP, TESC course, or transfer it in. Others have successfully used the Penn Foster course in Strategic Business Management. The TECEP is not a self-paced course; it's a test that costs $99. The TECEP works just like any other CBE (ECE, DSST, CLEP, etc). You study on your own time and take it when you're ready at a proctor. E-Packs are the courses that are self-paced but in 12-week terms. You take a series of quizzes that aren't graded, but you're preparing for a final that will give you credit if you pass. There is no e-Pack for Business Policy or Strategic Management.

There are no equivalent Straighterline courses. Organizational Behavior is not equivalent to Business Policy or Strategic Management. If you don't want to use Penn Foster, see if you can find Strategic Management or Business Policy somewhere else. I know the Alamo Community Colleges offer Strategic Management online everyone once in awhile, but they're expensive for non-Texans.

Thanks for the help. I guess i'll try to see if Organizational Behavior works somewhere else in my degree plan.

Organizational Behavior will work in the area of study as UL credit. If there is not enough room there, it will go in business electives. If there is not enough room there, it will go into free electives or even general education as a PSY course.
