I have this category I'm trying to fill in for the test outs and am wondering if take the Sociology CLEP, the Substance Abuse DSST, and the Ethics CLEP if it will fulfill this category. If not, what other CLEPS fit into this area. I had looked at Sanatones test out plan for this area and just want to be sure before I schedule the DSST Substance Abuse test if it's not needed. I can't access the Wiki from my work computer, but trying to fill in my spreadsheet accordingly.

1. CLEP Sociology
2. DSST Ethics In America or Business Ethics (I dont believe there is a CLEP for Ethics)
3. DSST Intro To World Religions (as easy or easier than Substance Abuse IMO)
Just one option....

All 3 of those could also be done via Straighterline as well. If you're far from a testing center like I am (and they make it difficult to sign up with funky hours and only ONE person allowed to take a CLEP or DSST at a time in a room with about 100 computers).

If you did them all with Straighterline wouldnt you need a replacement for Business in Society or International Management because the Business ethics DSST and SL go there?

with that being said. the ethics slot MIGHT be able to be filled by this 2 cr course here

I don't think anyone has had it evaluated by TESC yet.
So if that the case. the 3 Straighterlines would be perfect!

I'm almost positive they fill your GenEd first, and any Ethics course will go to fill the Ethics category. I haven't heard that Business Ethics fills Business in Society/Int'l Management. They all have different course numbers:
Business Ethics DSST - BUS-302
Business Ethics SL - PHI-384
Business in Society TESC/TECEP - BUS-311
TESU BSBA/HR 2018 - WVNCC BOG AAS 2017 - GGU Cert in Mgmt 2000

Business Ethics DSST/SL will both fill the BiS/IM slot, but (so far, at least) they do not duplicate the BiS TECEP, so you can still take that to fill the BiS/IM slot on the BSBA. I have mine planned out right now for the BiS TECEP to fill the BiS/IM slot, and the BE DSST is filling the Ethics slot.

AMU: Public Speaking, History of Explosive Ordnance Disposal, College Algebra
ALS (CCAF): Leadership/Management I, Managerial Communication I, Military Studies I
Sophia: Microeconomics
Straighterline: Accounting I/II
TECEP: English Comp I/II, Computer Concepts & Applications, Applied Liberal Arts Mathematics, Strategic Management (March 2017 Semester)

Yes it does, but just keep in mind StraighterLine's Business Ethics has the same equivalency as CPCU's ethics course--you can't use the free CPCU course for your Ethics requirement if you choose to go this route. I would recommend either the Environmental Ethics course from Saylor, or the DSST Ethics in America for fulfilling your Ethics requirement.
