I'm wondering about picking up this degree along with my BA from TESC. Playing with their handy little web advisor it seems that I have everything I need for the degree except for some hours that can be satisfied with a few more FEMA classes.
With all the petrochem-related facilities around here it just might come in handy someday.
I guess I need to schedule an advising appointment in the not-too-distant future to check on this, along with the idea of changing to a BA in Communications. Which is a possibility, if I can test out. It seems I would need 9 hours for the BA in Communications (if the web advisor is correct). I would need:
3 hours of either: Fundamentals of Speech, Mass Comm II, Interpersonal Communication 1, Interpersonal Communication II
3 UL hours of Communications.
Plus 3 hours of free electives which would be FEMA classes.
If I can test out of the 6 communications hours I just might change to the BA in Communications. After all, I started as a journalism student all those years ago, so it might be nice to finish in something that's somewhat similar.
(I tried looking at the AAS in Administrative Studies, but you can't get an evaluation over the web for that program--interesting.)
