Excelsior College approved for Homeland Security & Emergency Management Degree

Hey folks,
Just received word from the school that they have been approved for their BS in Homeland Security & Emergency Management. Degree requirements and outline should be up soon.

Good information - they also have a National Security degree with various concentrations.

Anyone heard any more on this? I see it's listed on their website, but still don't see degree requirements.

I followed up with Admissions and was able to get a copy of the degree requirements for their EM degrees. See attached.

Any idea about testing out of any of those classes. Wonder if anybody has tried yet to find out.

There are not tests/inexpensive courses for a lot of these.

Intro to Healthcare Management
Critical Issues in Health Care
Not these in particular, but several CSU-Global CBE's in Healthcare area

CSU-Global also has Disaster Response & Disaster Recovery CBE's.

APU/AMU has a Homeland Security degree and tons of courses that might work (although you'd probably just want to get the degree from them). Same with Cybersecurity, and Emergency and Disaster Management degrees.

When I applied to the TESU HSEM degree they wanted 27 more credits.:ack:

Excelsior College HSEM degree only wanted 4.cheersmate

Same number of credits. I passed the INL102 in two days. I take the HEM498 this Fall.eeya:
