How does one determine which are the best or easiest tests to choose from for the TESC BSBA general mgmt track
TECEPs and the final exams for Saylor and Straighterline courses can be taken online.
CLEP, Uexcel, and DSST have to be taken onsite.

That is tough to answer. What is cake to me might be tough for you; it all depends on where each of our personal strengths lie.
Which courses appeal to you the most at first-glance? That can help direct the answers.

Free Clep Prep has difficulty lists for CLEPs and DSSTs.
CLEP

DSST

but again these will depend on your strengths and weaknesses.
TECEPs and UExcels are considered slightly harder just because they are based on a select set of books as opposed to general subject knowledge like the CLEPs/DSSTs.
Most Straighterline exams I found to be very easy because the majority are open book and the answers are easy to find, especially when using an ebook.
I have not used Saylor as a credit source, only taken their classes for personal knowledge so I can't tell you about the difficulty of the proctored exams.

Much also depends on what you intend to do with your degree. In some instances, CLEP and DSST are preferable because they are more widely accepted.

So is it better to revert to CLEP and DSST whenever possible?

In my opinion, it is best to use the most widely accepted sources when possible in case your plans change. If a year into this journey you decide to get a degree from a college outside of the Big 3, you will be able to transfer CLEP and DSST credits but not Straighterline, Saylor, Aleks, etc. I have changed degree plans so many times I can't count and many of those plans would have made my Straighterline, Aleks, and Penn Foster work a waste of money.
If you are just looking for the quickest route to a BSBA then it probably doesn't matter.
In the end, the only person who will be able to determine the best approach for you is you.
Good luck with your decision. I have learned more from my mistakes on this journey than I have from my successes.
