TESC BSBA General Management Degree Plan Help
#1
Hi, I've brwosed the forum for a while and I need help putting a degree plan together. All my schooling has been done at traditional colleges. 68 at Community College and 16 and University. Totaling 84 credits that transfer over to TESC. I would like to complete my degree as fast as possible(like everyone else.) Can you guys help me find the optimum place to take the required classes for a BSBA in General Management(or any degree I can test out completely)?

I've been looking at Sanatone's guide for the degree, but would still appreciate some input! My Evaluation is below:

It looks like your interests lie in the Humanities/ Arts/ Liberal Studies instead of Business. If your goal is just to graduate with a degree as quickly as possible, it would be better to focus on a BA in Humanities or Liberal Studies. That way you could use 24 more of your credits in your degree plan. What are your goals?
BA, MA, EdS, MMT, etc.
83 hours of ACE-worthy credits
#3
Short term: I would like to be able to use my BA to be able to get a proper work visa to teach abroad in either South Korea or Japan. Long term: I want to do contract/freelance work as an illustrator. Ideally, I would have went with a BA in Hunamities or Liberal Arts, but TESC seems to require a Liberal Arts Capstone course that I wouldn't be able to pay out of pocket at the pay per tuition rate for non residents.

TESC does require a Liberal Arts Capstone. It looks like they have accepted most of your 86 credits, but only 54 of those credits apply to the BSBA program. That means that 32 of your already-earned credits cannot be used in the BSBA because they do not full any requirements. If you choose a major in which you could use more of your credits, it might offset the cost of those extra 32 hours, especially if you use TECEPs for the Pay Per Credit plan, which would waive the enrollment fee.
BA, MA, EdS, MMT, etc.

Here is an idea of what you'd need to take for a BA in Liberal Studies. There are lots of other ways to complete this degree, obviously, but I filled in some of the upper level credits with psychology because that looks like one of your strengths.

For the free electives, you would need 12 hours of TECEPs, but the other two hours could be either ALEKS College Algebra or TEEX Cybersecurity for Everyone (a no-cost option).

IIRC, the Capstone could be a creative project, which would be perfect for an artist. Smile

Best wishes, OP.
