For those who have completed the TEEX courses that count as CIS or just don't want to pay for the DSST in Cybersecurity, the senior academic program advisor for the business school made an exception for the missing upper level credit in CIS electives. I can't guarantee you they'll do this all the time, but it was automatically done for me when I asked to switch degree programs. You will, however, need the minimum of 120 credits for your bachelor's degree. That missing credit has to be made up somewhere else in your plan.

Are you saying the 3 TEEX courses are upper level for CIS?

No. Only TEEX for IT Professionals is UL. My other UL credits will come from Systems Analysis and Design, Network Technology TECEP, and MIS DSST. Since the TEEX course is only 2 credits, I'm short one UL credit.

I can see that. That IT one was a very good course. I was pleasantly surprised at how up to date the content is. I thought for sure they would throw in an Apple Newton or C64 based on some of the other IT courses I have looked over.

What you don't search the ARPA-net while connected to a token ring network from your Newton or try to troubleshoot connectivity issues on a bus network using your C64? Common it's the 1990s, what year do you think it is 2015?

I would, but I think there is a problem with the Daisy power panel or a bailun somewhere, or when we cross-connected it on the Split 66 blocks there may be a bad punch-down.

I'm taking the CSU Global exam. It was just confirmed that it will fulfill the requirement.

Sanantone, is there duplication of TEEX and DSST Cybersecurity? If so, do you know how the "extra" 3 credits fall?

Cybersecurity for IT Professionals and the DSST duplicate. They both count as CIS-344.
