In the past if you applied, became an applicant and registered for at least one TECEP exam you would become an enrolled student 10 days after the semester began. You become an enrolled student based on the term you register for, not the registration date. If you register now for an April TECEP exam you should become an enrolled student April 14 or April 15. For the February term which began Feb. 1, the enrollment should occur around Feb. 10 or 11. I'm not sure if that changed as I think someone else mentioned having problems. For me it happened automatically, I didn't even know I was enrolled until my eval updated saying I was an enrolled student. The application is generally only good for 6 months but there are some exceptions. You apply and then have 6 months to choose en enrollment plan. If you choose the pay per credit plan then you must register for at least one course or TECEP exam. After the 6 months if you do not enroll under one of the plans then the application expires and you have to reapply. You can check your student status in OSS, bottom right there is a link for profile, right above the id link. It says the status and when the current status first started. For me my status is enrolled with a start date of 11/2015 as that is the term when I registered for my most recent TECEP exam. I have until Nov of this year to register for another exam to remain a current student.
