I failed International Business by 4 points... I think i just got extremely unlucky with the questions drawn from the test bank. I had been getting mid-80s on all the practice tests. But the questions I got on the actual exam were worded weirdly and were from seemingly obscure parts of the chapters. Also several of them had more than one answer that could have been correct.
I think it's the last part that i find so frustrating... especially if i have prior knowledge of the topic, i feel like so many of the questions/answers aren't 'logically' correct, but rather based on a single sentence in the curriculum that is meant to be taken as a literal fact. The questions/answers are so generic as to be confusing. It's almost like i have to un-learn everything i know to be true about a topic in order to try to pass the exams with the answers that Study is looking for.

Did you get 100% on all the lesson quizzes? If not, and you haven't used your 3 chances on those yet, you might be able to go back to retake those and pad your score. It used to be like that anyway, not sure if anything has changed.

I would complain because some Study.com tests have obvious display problems and other things. One of my tests had the correct answer duplicated for two choices. I had to pick one and who knows whether I picked the right one. I passed that course by the skin of my teeth, so that one question mattered.

Create a support ticket and see what they say, did you also check your quizzes to find out what you have? Is there any wiggle room in that area of the course? See if you can get the exam cost reimbursed or at least discounted. If needed, redo the exam in 3 days.

Hmm, interesting, which course was this? Did you report the issue to Study.com as there is a "report" button or something if I recall correctly. I haven't run across anything like that with any of my Study.com exams yet.

There are errors all over the place and I gave up on reporting all of them, but yes -- I did complain about the duplicate answer. I think it was for Calculus. The answers were not clear and appeared as scanned-in cropped blurry images. I also just took another exam where the formatting was so off for one question, I couldn't even tell what answer was for which word. Unfortunately, it's on the exam, so good luck trying to remember exactly what you saw.
