I searched the forum and found a similiary titled thread from two years ago. Wasn't much info.
I am registered under the Military Degree Completion Program, which has no fee (the $2900 one) but requires 24 TESC credits (including TECEPs).
Essentially, I am looking to find the ones that you fine people found the easiest to study for/pass without any prior knowledge. Any info will greatly be appreciated.

Which subject area are you looking for? I've taken 4 business-related ones but if you're looking for science or humanities TECEPs I can't really give you any insight.

I have to agree with Yanji, at least give us your major so we know what will help with your degree. Many of the TECEP exams are very specific so as far as "easy" goes I'd say the easiest are the ones which overlap with CLEP or DSST such as Technical Writing and the English Comp exams. They provide study information for each of the exams if you open up the exam title and click "view exam description".
Thomas Edison State College: Course Offerings
Unlike the majority of CLEP/DSST exams, many of these have short answer or essay questions so I would say none are as easy as some of the CLEP & DSST courses like CLEP A & I Lit or DSST Prin. of Supervision. I don't think any of them can be described as passing without prior knowledge, you'll do more studying for these than you do for CLEP & DSST because the exams are either short answer/essay or are very specific in what they ask.
My completed "non-traditional" credits include 27 credits from CLEP, 30 credits from DSST, 6 credits from ALEKS, 19 credits from FEMA courses including PDS, 3 credits from NFA courses, 10 credits from ACE Workplace Training, 3 credits from a TESC TECEP exam, and 3 credits from a TESC PLA course.

Thanks for the reply guys. The classes I need for my major I already have planned out and taken into consideration. I literally am looking for easy TECEPs so I can fill my requirement without having to take a class. No trick question

From the TECEPS i've taken (Business degree), TECEPS tend to be more vague and poorly worded. I only enjoyed taking Advertising, that exam was easy for me. Operations Management was very difficult for me for some reason. I spent around 150 study hours on it and still was unsure if I would pass the second time around.

i took the nutrition one and passed it with one days worth of studying. I didnt think i passed when i took it, but somehow i managed through it. The only reason I took it was becuase the VA wouldnt pay the rest of my tuition under ch.33 unless i sat at least one tecep. Get the book recommended in the sylabus from your local library and knock out the nutrition test. good luck

So VA was able to pay the semester fee with only one TECEP? It may be better for me to do that instead of trying to find 24 credits to take with TESC when I only need 12.

yes under ch.33 post 9/11 gi bill. they told me to take one tecep or couse and it would cover the tuition portion of my enrolled options plan.
