Systems Analysis and TESC BSBA CIS
#1
FYI..... as of June 2010, the Systems Analysis & Design requirement for TESC's BSBA CIS degree can be satisfied with just the Systems Analysis course from Penn Foster, according to my son's transcript. We have all been under the assumption that both the PF Structured Systems Analysis and the separate PF Systems Design course were needed. Since PF now charges each as a 3 credit course, it was getting expensive. Transcript excerpt below:

B: Systs Analy & Design (Completed)
> Complete 3 semester hours in systems analysis or systems
> analysis and design I.
!! Exception
Requirement satisfied with 2 credits
Src Course # Title S.H. Grd TESC # Notes
1.. CIS-320... System Analysis & Design 2.00 CR CIS-320 *NE

Also my other son took the Systems Analysis & Design course for graded credit from Adams State. Self paced, no proctor, easy A...can be completed in about a month. Distance Learning, Business Courses, Extended Studies, Adams State College

Looks like they have a Business Comm class too. Hmmm. PF's website is a nightmare when it comes to finding information. Might take my class at Adams State instead.
