Hello!
I am new to the forum and I'm not sure I am posting on the correct board.
I started WGU 9/1 of this year. I have an AS in business administration. WGU would only take about 9 classes from my transcript.
I am having issues with the proctoring exams. I have ADHD I am medicated but the exams are causing me anxiety and to test poorly. I do great with writing, and I can read and comprehend at a rapid speed.
I have been looking into UMPI, but are there other online colleges that don't have the proctoring part?
I know that I want to stay in business, and I just need the paper to advance in my current company.
I am feeling a bit defeated about WGU..
Thanks!

UMPI is going to be the cheapest and fastest in regards to finishing. PUG degrees also have a ton of writing, but I think there may still be an exam or two? Not 100% sure.
What classes are in your AS and what have you managed to finish at WGU so far?
In progress:
TESU - BA Computer Science; BSBA CIS; ASNSM Math & CS; ASBA
Completed:
Pierpont - AAS BOG
Sophia (so many), The Institutes (old), Study.com (5 courses)
ASU: Human Origins, Astronomy, Intro Health & Wellness, Western Civilization, Computer Appls & Info Technology, Intro Programming
Strayer: CIS175, CIS111, WRK100, MAT210

From my memory.. My AS has
[*]This was the basics. I have a few extras that I took on Lean, women in manufacturing, and a few extra psychology classes.

@Joellem, Welcome to the board. That's a good introduction and subsequent updated post... It's got a bit more info, but not all the info about your budget, commitments, etc. You may want to provide more details within the addendum and template here to paint a better, clearer overview of your situation: https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/Forum-D...ing-Advice

WGU's proctor is especially bad for some students. The proctor used by Study.com, for instance, isn't nearly as bad. What kind of budget, tuition assistance, etc. do you have? UMPI is probably going to be the fastest/cheapest if you prefer papers. But TESU could also be a possibility if you like their degree subjects better and are okay with Study.com's proctor.

I have about 15-20 hours to spend a week. More if I can write papers at work.

You need an evaluation completed by both institutions and you then have to decide, taking alternative courses elsewhere for max transfer or doing the competency based option is for you. UMPI requires 30 credits, TESU requires 6, you can pay residency waiver fee if you wanted to... You can take Study.com, Sophia.org, LawShelf and other courses that do not use a real time proctor such as ProctorU. UMPI may be a better choice if you can complete in two sessions after you transfer the max 90 credits...
